I am an artist drawn to the small, funny interactions that happen between people — whether I am part of the group or watching from the sidelines. My practice takes these short, often unnoticed moments and changes them into absurd, exaggerated narratives that highlight the humour in everyday social life.
Working across sculptural work, painting, print and installation, I try to build stories that capture the way ego, arrogance, and unintentional rudeness surface in human interactions. A passing comment, a thoughtless remark that lands the wrong way, a tiny power play — these moments, while small, hold unspoken emotional weight. They are awkward, ridiculous, and human. I highlight those feelings, stretching them into theatrical, larger-than-life scenes that encourage laughter, recognition, and reflection.
As a small person with big ideas, I love turning the minuscule into the monumental — tiny observations spiralling into absurd dramas, personal moments expanding into humour. My work celebrates the fun in these everyday situations, proving that even the most fleeting interactions can hold a strange, comedic magic — if only we take the time to notice.
